Washington DC and The Holy Land>Michael Avenatti is a Superstar
Lex Luthor 12:16 AM 05-20-2018
Michael Avenatti is Donald Trump's second-worst nightmare.

The honor of being Donald Trump's worst nightmare obviously goes to Robert Mueller, as Mueller is slowly but surely tightening the noose on the Russian Colluder in Chief. But Mueller is running a tight ship. No leaks are coming from Mueller's team, and Mueller himself is very tight-lipped about what he has found.

This is where Michael Avenatti joins the party. He goes on all of the talk shows and exposes Trump and his lackey Giuliani as the fools that they are.

It is unlikely that Avenatti has any information that Mueller does not. But Avenatti is doing something that Mueller cannot. He is fighting (and clearly winning) the battle of public opinion. He is beating trump at his own game: A media barrage where he is always at the center.

When feeble old Giuliani declared that Avenatti is an "ambulance chaser", Avenatti responded with this hilarious and epic takedown:

Rudy Giuliani - the only “ambulance” I have ever chased in my career is the one you are driving right now in a desperate attempt to save this presidency. Any time you would like to compare our legal careers and cases over the last 15 yrs, I would be happy to. #sirens #basta

Another awesome tweet from Michael Avenatti, Superstar:

This is getting too easy. What an absolute train wreck this guy is. EVERY time!!! #Embarrassment #TimeForPasture #DazedConfused #Basta

Unfair!’ Rudy Giuliani explodes when CNN’s Cuomo plays clip of him saying presidents must obey subpoenas https://t.co/AszT6ZZx9D via rawstory

The 2016 election gave us no good options, to be sure. But if you can sit there and say that Hillary Clinton would not have turned this country inside out, then you're just not paying attention to anything outside of MSNBC or CNN (which you make abundantly clear by your hard hitting adjectives about Trump. You probably stopped eating KFC based on CNN's retarded reporting on how Trump puts ketchup on his fried chicken).

Open your eyes to what is going on in the world. Think for yourself. Think critically. Think logically. If you do that, you'll see why HRC has no place in the White House, much less Washington DC.

I get my news from a number of sources - most that you would consider liberal media, I would assume. I check out Fox, which does report on a lot of interesting things, but have a hard time not judging it as a propaganda machine. It is actually Trump's war on the press that I dislike the most about his administration. Places like the NYT and Wash Po are truly excellent journalistic entities and if he doesn't like how they portray him, then maybe he should stop doing distasteful things.

That said, we always have to elect people that are human, with human failings. We don't get perfect presidential candidates. When you throw in the huge money spent to influence and sway these elections, those failings get magnified. At the end of the day, I would prefer HRC in the white house over the man who occupies it. I'm not calling for impeachment or anything like that. I'm not mad that the side I supported lost in a fair election. I would like it if the man who won grew a pair, quit whining about witch hunts, stopped attacking a free press, didn't throw us into trade wars with our closest allies, didn't offer support to white nationalists after charlottesville and stopped fucking lying to the American people all the fucking time about shit.

Ya. as opposed to a woman who is an admitted Progressive, did her thesis on Saul Alinsky, demonized conservative voters, didn't think it made a difference that people died in Benghazi, demonized the women whom her husband assaulted, sold Uranium to the Russians, rigged her own primary, got questions for the debate, screwed over Haiti and endorses the killing of a child from a failed abortion.

She's a monster and we dodged an atom bomb.

See, that's the kind of idiotic posting that shows you're not a serious poster. Trump's war on the press? The press have been maligning Trump ever since he entered the race, and they've been caught publishing all sorts of false stories in the process.

All sorts of false stories? Can you name five from legitimate news sources? Heck, name three.

We've had thread after thread about them. If you haven't been paying attention, that's your problem.

That’s absurd. It’s hard to count the false Trump/Russia stories from the NYTimes and WaPo alone. Do I want to look them up so I can list 5 (or 3) of them for you? Not really. Should anyone who’s been paying attention need me to list them to know it’s true? No way.

This is a foundational fact that everyone should be able to agree on without requiring proof every time it’s brought up.

The NYT just got busted for making shit up about the NK meeting, a few days ago, claiming that a senior White house official had declared it impossible to still make the June 12 summit, when the official had not said that and a transcript was available to prove it. But Messier can't recall any mainstream media fake news.

Those are deep reaching. Errors in reports happen. When thereís a retraction, itís a mistake. Thereís not a news organization in existence that doesnít make mistakes. Not one, ever. I need a fabricated story. Those arenít fabricated stories.

This is occurring with enough regularity that I'm becoming convinced that it's a purposeful rhetorical tactic as opposed to a valid lack of knowledge.

Take detailed issues and rather than debate the merits, deny every single aspect, no matter how well established, and demand specifically curated forms of proof for even the most obvious of assertions. Then when all the hoops have been jumped through disappear for a while until you pop up again to argue it all over again faux tabula rasa.

I've copyrighted the phrase 'victory though inevitable exhaustion and boredom.'

The emblematic phrase that lines their coat or arms is 'OK smart guy, tell me when the Clintons have ever in their lives done anything even slightly unethical or illegal.'
