Some of that earlier talk...Watkins contract is 100% designed for him to either be cut or given a new deal after this year.

Just heard on the stick to football podcast that they know the Chiefs have very legit Interest in Frank Clark. It just seems like something that makes too much sense to not happen

6 weeks ago, I would have freaked out over drafting offense early, but I've warmed to the idea of taking Fant or even trading up for Hockenson.

Those two are going to be good.

If we have another good pass catching TE to pair with Kelce, defenses would have to pick their poison. We could run 2 TE sets, but the D would still be forced to stay in nickel or dime because those two cannot be covered by LB's, period.

I think that would allow us to get some mismatches in the run game.

Fant/Hockenson > WR3

All this speculation on the Chiefs trading for Clark and giving him this massive contract; We are about to shell out for Chris Jones. I don't see us having two mega-contracts used on the defensive line. If we acquire Clark I don't see us keeping Jones. Personally I would rather have Jones.
