I think, at the end of the day, this is why they are pressing on. They have had enough feedback by now to assess that this is mainly a nothing burger to the NFL. They have determined at some point that the benefits of playing far exceed the actual risk IMO. I think they feint concern for the well being of the players and staff primarily for the optics of it all.

I know you're being sarcastic about needing practice and the Broncos game, but it is worth pointing out NFL teams with a Sunday game never practice on Mondays or Tuesdays... it is usually medical treatments (which can still happen) and meetings (which can easily transfer to a remote format).
So basically the Monday/Tuesday facilities closure has a very minimal impact on normal operations.
