Doubtful. While we are better than expected and seemingly ahead of schedule, we don't have the horses to compete with the elite. Should be a fun fight for the last wildcard spot though. But teams like NYY and LAD are far better than us. We just don't have the hitters, nor bullpen, to compete game after game with them. And apparently the starters decided to take this series off, as well. [Reply]

His opportunity to be a starter with the Royals is gone, he may be able to be a 1 inning guy if it upticks his velocity.
Also this isn't exactly a great litmus test either, the Yankees are the best team in baseball. The Royals are improved but not on that level. If you just compare the lineups the Yankees lineup is absurd. [Reply]
