While I can't fault some of Tyler Sullivan's thought processes in determining wins and losses, I still can't believe he's projecting the Chiefs to lose games by double-digits. I just don't see that happening.

He had the Chiefs losing games by double digits - something that hasn't happened in the Mahomes era yet - I believe our worst loss was by 7 pts since he took over. [Reply]

Ahh! And I totally agree. Any projection of us scoring less than 24 is stupid! [Reply]

You had me going there. To your point, the only way we lose by double digits this year is a late game TO. [Reply]
This "writer" is an amateur with 5,000 Twitter followers, which is what sports "journalism", outside of a few outlets, has become.
That said, the guy is a bozo. The Chiefs haven't lost a game by more than 7 points since like 2015. They're heading into the 2020 season healthier than they've been in years, with a greatly improved defense and a new offensive weapon in CEH.
They may end up 13-3 but they're not losing multiple games by 14 or more points unless they're starting Tyler Bray at QB. [Reply]

At that point, it shouldn't be that much heavy lifting for Patrick Mahomes and company, but they do put on a nice display of offense. Chiefs win 33-16.
This guy is a know nothing hack... the last 3 years it was Chiefs at New England... [Reply]
This guy thinks Buffalo, Baltimore, and Miami can hold us to under 18 points. And that all three of them will perform that feat in the upcoming season.
Like... if he wants to pick an upset, then whatever, but at least pick a realistic score.
