Secret courts and hidden powers should never be allowed. This is yet another example as to why.

Looks like Trumpers did the math on the dates and decided not to comment on this thread. :-)

It was defended by Trump's DOJ who argued that it needed the program.

"[Judge] Boasberg said the Trum"p administration failed to persuade the court that adjusting the program to more efficiently protect American citizens’ privacy would impede the FBI’s ability to counter threats."

Yep! That an the new director Wray is another corrupt snake. This stuff has been going on for a long time particularly, since 9/11 which just gave them an excuse.

Like I've posted before, the FBI has a long history of corruption.

Obama took it to a level unmatched,
Just before he left office in Jan gave ok for NSA to share.
Thing is they were doing it anyway to anyone and everyone.
Obama and company can tell you when and what time Trump takes shit everyday.
They know every phone call /text/email and leak it drip by drip.
None of us are safe from this type of govt.

There is NO DOUBT that any and all government agencies that gain too much power begin violating the rights of the people they serve.

Considering the level of abuse on unauthorized spying on US citizens during the Obama admin, you'd think Democrats would keep their dirty mouths shut on this one.

None of us are safe from any powerful government. While we might all like to think that the theory holds, and that government exists to serve the needs of the governed, the practical reality is that government exists to increase the power of government.
