No, "They" didn't, you dopes. A Chinese gaming company named Tencent invested $150M into Reddit. Not China. Tencent are the creators of the mobile video game League of Legends, and creators of an Asian chat app called WeChat. In no way do they represent China or are related to the Chinese government.

Tencent's investment is only controversial because Reddit is currently blocked via most Chinese internet services.

Yeah, sure, clearly. Look, you morons have been nothing but wrong throughout this entire thread. I've adequately provided sources for why. No one else has bothered to contribute a single source. Not one single fucking link to anything close to a verifiable source.

Maybe you don't mean what you're saying here, but phyiscal control over the hardware is definitely how this usually works, whether it's necessary or not.

Which was done. They captured a forensic image of the physical hard drive. That forensic image is what is used for investigation. That's how it works. The physical drive is imaged and then left in an unaltered state.

Are you saying companies in China are allowed to run independently from the Communist party of China?

No...... You'll miss to many thing basing a investigation of nothing but a image. The hardware on the Server, the Network etc all leave traces and information.

Just imaging the Hard Drives will do nothing, because that can be easily manipulated.

P.S. The FBI didn't even get a full report from the DNC

Imaged by the FBI while the hardware was in their possession?

No infact the FBI was not even provided with the whole report as shown in court filings. They basically just took CrowdStrike at their word.

WHICH

Is why none of this is admissible in court.
