And you can have a skyscraper full of beds, but there's also staffing and supplies, etc. You won't overwhelm the beds.

I guess you missed the part where he said the South is handling this bad. I guess you include Arizona in The South?

Because I've never heard of Arizona being part of the South.

But then again, I get your agenda

AZ gave as many fucks about this as the "south" and we are paying for it now.

Except he sited it as a example. Again Texas has maintained 1800 people for months in hospital and only recently did it "Spike" to 2200. Given there are 28,000 hospital beds I'd say we are fine.

Considering we opened over a month ago, it was to be expected. Even with all that we have far fewer deaths, and far fewer people dying every day in Texas as compared to many other places.

Go figure.

Provide a source on this on hospital bed capacity?

Hospital beds vs ICU beds are 2 different animals. One takes far more equipment and staff. I can tell you in AZ it’s staffing and equipment that will soon be short. Having surge beds only works with appropriately trained staff and the correct equipment. Not every nurse is equipped to be an ICU nurse. Those nurses are being run ragged here and the care for ICU patients will suffer.

More testing= more cases.
The "hospitalization" numbers are suspect. Same reason as 2 months ago.

Maybe we should start "we are all going to die thread"

You're using common sense with people that obviously have none...

I have a better idea. How about 'No big deal over 100k died from CoronaVirus' thread instead.

Because if you pretend it isn't real then it isn't.
