Erving just begging to get a blocking downfield penalty.... Yelder gets schooled
DE does a swim move on Yelder. I’ve watched this play 10 times. Still don’t know how Mahomes got it off that quickly with pressure crashing down off of PA in a tight window to Robinson. Insane! #JacobsEyeInTheSkypic.twitter.com/GJB3ZdMNb1

We don't know if Tyreek is even playing and if so, still not a guarantee. This O Line is total garbage.
One game doesn’t negate everything they can and have done. It is much more likely that we score in the 30s than it is we score in the teens again this game. How many points did the Texans score before their most recent game? Only 10 points. [Reply]

Good teams tend to play well after embarrassing losses.
Momentum isn’t much of a thing in the NFL. Look at how the Browns followed up their dominant win over Baltimore.
Let’s not forget that the Texans crushed a pretty good Titans team 57-14 before Alex went into Houston and clowned them. They needed a couple desperate Hail Marys to even get it close. [Reply]

When one team plays a much better cleaner game and wins by 6 points it's sort of valid to point out the atypical mountain of mistakes made by the other team. [Reply]

That has to be an RPO. That's why he 'got it off so quickly' - it was a designed read and that's why he pulled and fired. As soon as he saw that coverage he knew where he was going with the ball, otherwise he lets the RB have it.
Nobody on the line is blocking that like a pass rep. That's why Erving is downfield -- he was supposed to go hunt someone to hit. You have a guard pulling across and the right side of the line drive blocking instead of setting into a pocket.
Erving didn't really do anything wrong there. But holy hell did Yelder get wrecked or what? [Reply]
The dropping his head thing is something I noticed a few times.
I really can't get over how fucking awful he was on Sunday. And even when he's been sub-par in the past, he's never been THAT bad.
I really can't say I've seen a worse T performance in 5+ years. I mean he was just laughably terrible and it was because he seemed to have just forgotten every technique/coaching moment he's had for the last 10 years. How a guy thinks he's gonna get that job done just dropping his head and lunging forward is beyond me.
And he did it often. I can't imagine he's generally that awful in practice, etc... because that's the kind of stuff you don't see Power 5 college players doing with regularity. He wouldn't stay on scholarship doing that shit, let alone make an NFL roster.

You folks are embarrassing sometimes.
I'm not the one that called it a play action - your beef is with Nick Jacobs (and of course, Mahomo, but he's a meathead anyway so why bother?)
Let's remember when we're rushing to suck off some of these guys on Twitter that the only thing they have that many of us don't is a social media following and better A/V skills.
I'm well past the point of letting bloggers tell me what I see. These guys don't know more than I do and they don't know more than many others 'round these parts.
I mean the rush to cede your own opinion to a mongoloid junkie like Baldinger is just bizarre to me. [Reply]

The colts didn't play a clean game and they had a ton of injuries too. [Reply]
