The other important issue about chloroquinine that hasn't been mentioned in this thread (or if it has, I missed it) but it will not "cure" or kill the virus: It only slows down replication.

Now, if the clinical trials indicate that it slows down the virus, awesome, but it's not a cure nor will it stop the spread of the virus.

And under no circumstances should people self-medicate because this is an extremely dangerous drug that will cause death if not used properly.

Why do you say that? From all reports it's seeming like chloroquine might be the way to go.

There's been no verification that this drug does indeed slow down the virus, as France, Belgium and the US are all in the clinical testing phase.

Anything else is just internet myths and nonsense.

Anecdotal evidence with medication is what it is. It may work it may not, but I wouldn’t base a whole lot on that

Convalescent plasma from people who have recovered is gonna show good success imo. Then develop an antibody prophy and that will get you where you wanna go

The president said we're extending the "Stop the Spread" guidelines until April 30th.

The death rate peak is supposed to hit in 2 weeks. (According to the models)

Studies showed potential for 50% infection rate, and 1.6 to 2.2 million dead without mitigation efforts.
