Thanks!

It's been here for 6 months. That's not long term yet.

Some of the lung x-rays are showing permanent damage.

And I still don't want 6 months of hell not knowing when it will go away.

I didn't say that the increases were "meaningful." I just said that they are seeing increases in response to you claiming this:

So with deaths not going up with cases

That's not accurate.

They're all pretty much where they were in May. So they have ticked up a little, it hasn't been of any significance yet.

There very likely will be some cases that have lasting effects. Just as there are with bacterial pneumonia.

I don't think we should get carried away with outlier cases until they're proven to be more than outlier cases.

Yes, they've increased, like I stated. If the lag is three to four weeks, and they started seeing increases in new cases in early/mid June (which they did), it's likely that deaths will increase, unfortunately.

Like I've said, "hopefully" the news that many of these new cases are younger folk, and they haven't spread it to people who are more likely to die from it.

We will be closer to 1,000 today. I think we are seeing some lag from the holiday. Next few days will be telling.

My local school started summer school this week and I'm driving. Have to wear a mask. Tell you what, wearing that damn thing on a bus in 95 degree weather sucks. Makes my face all sweaty in no time. I only leave it over my nose when kids are getting on or off but even just over my mouth the rest of the time is hell.

I wear an n95 mask, a surgical mask over it and a face shield over my magnification loupes with a surgical gown and a head cap for 8 hours per day.

It's not a big deal. You get used to it.

I pull mine out at the chin to get cool air in there. Nobody's going to hassle you over that.

The great flyover state of Kansas is 14th in new cases and 14th in least amount of restrictions. We have also been added to New Yorks travel restrictions. Yay!
