It's time to just make that move permanent to see if Jones can play the position before we decide about his new contract.

Jones either needs to find a way to rush the passer but still maintain his gap discipline at DT or be a dynamic pass rusher at DE and still maintain the edge. If he can't do either one then we should trade him.
