Nzoner's Game Room>B rated movies that are so terrible they are great
DenverChief 01:46 PM 05-31-2019
So I have had some time off this week to recover from some Illness/Injury. Needless to say I ran out of "Good" movies to watch in the first couple of days. I just watched Toxic Avenger for the first time and wow :-).

Looking for suggestions on some other B rated movies that are must watches, hopefully available on Amazon.

Please help, TIA

Much love Denverchief

Wizards

American Pop

LoTR

Coonskin

...are all B movie level

Cool World and A Scanner Darkly were Hollywood productions with money behind them. old school rotoscopy looked better anyway

I liked this movie when I was a kid...it's a B movie, but the story is actually really good.

BTW, fair warning for my other selection, Werewolf in a Women's Prison...it's basically softcore porn. A LOT of Nudity

Recorded this yesterday so I could show the grandkids what was on TV when I was a kid.:-)

Watching it right now and we're all :-) at how bad it is. Hilariously bad.

Also known as Braindead.

Caught this movie when I was 15 late night on HBO. Holy shit. :-)

You're right; my bad. That's what I get for trying to post while watching the NHL Finals pre-game show . . .

Donnie Darko I searched and didn't see this title listed. A 2001 release with a budget of $4.5 million with an unknown Jake Gyllenhaal as the star. It had no promotion but I caught it on HBO a year or so later. Between reruns on TV and my DVD, I've seen it 30 times. It's just something about it that I like and it's a cult hit.

Napolean Dynamite Almost the same could be said for this movie, but the budget was only $400,000 and the actors were even less known than Gyllenhaal. Another movie that didn't do well at the theaters but caught on later with HBO and the like. I had the "Vote for Pedro" t-shirts at one time, seen it at least 30 times.

Just watched Silver Bullet on IFC.

Maybe time for some Bubba Ho-Tep.
