Nzoner's Game Room>Does anyone take Melatonin?
Titty Meat 02:05 AM 02-26-2020
I'm starting a new shift next monday starting at 630 am. usually go to bed at 3am and even they it's hard. Was reading about melatonin supposedly it works. I used Benadryl on days I had to be up super early but half the time it didn't work or i'd be groggy.

It’s never really done much for me. I’m just kind of a shitty sleeper overall.

It can still give you a bit of a hangover effect, but you are better off using it than Benadryl, which will just make you tired after about two weeks without actually making you sleep.

Most of your benefit will be derived from changing your sleep hygiene/schedule.

Works great! I wake up at 4:30 am for work and have to go to bed sometimes as early as 7:30 pm. A little melatonin and cbd combo put me out.

I read it might not be the best thing if you take an SSRI which I do. Then again they say dont drink while taking an SSRI but I do.

I take 5mg every night, and it definitely helps me sleep. I've read you're not supposed to rely on it constantly as it wrecks your body's ability to self-regulate, but screw it--- I need to sleep and I already wake up four or five times a night to piss anyway.

I hate it. Recently tried it after reading a study that melatonin combined with B12 can help with tinnitus.

It left me in a half asleep state waking up super tired.

First night was great, but nights 2 and 3 were a horror show

5mg nightly. It helps me fall asleep but not necessarily stay asleep. I tried 10mg but I often got intense, frightening dreams

I do on multiple nights per week. Works decent for me at 2-3 mg. I get ones that dissolve sublingual.

I tired it years ago when I would have to fly from to the east coast all the time and that was my experience as well. :-)

doesn't work for me at all. in fact, it gives me the jimmy legs.

wife takes it, and she's out like she was chloroform'd.

10mg gummy will work for me.

It will give you really intense dreams though.
