The Chiefs 2nd team OL was dreadful, as Mahomes was sacked five times, but Smith's beautiful throw to Conley that went for a touchdown gives him the early edge in the QB competition.
Mahomes showed off his arm a couple of times, but could not lead a scoring drive. The INT was just a punt on 3rd and 33.

Tyreek Hill runs back the opening kickoff, and then the Bengals fuck up the Chiefs, hardcore. Pat Mahomes works with the starters, but it isn't pretty.
Pat Mahomes: 9-16, 106 yards, 0 TD, 3 INT, -4 yards rushing (two picks were Tyreek Hill's fault though)

Now now, in fairness, he'll do that in about week 10 when he realizes that he's not going to make the playoffs and needs to go on a 6 game winning streak to salvage his season.
