About 5-6 years ago Madden was all about grabbing as many speed guys as you could find. They've gotten away from that a bit but Clay's video makes it look like they put it on it's head entirely this year.
Get yourself a big damn WR and fire bullet passes and the new engine will let him do all kinds of 'big receiver' shit to just go take it away.
Interesting change in gameplay and probably a good thing. Size is still pretty critical for a lot of those downfield 50/50 balls. [Reply]

The only reason that works with him is because he has 91 spectacular catch and 88 catch in traffic.
I couldn't do that for shit with Conley or Kelce last season.
The Raiders have an almost identical roster, but lost Donald Penn in the offseason. They swept the Chiefs a year ago, but the Chiefs were in both games before blowing them late.

Look at my glorious intermediate passing skills, though. I rule.
You take too long to make decisions. On that intermediate route, notice how the WR had to dive for the ball, and that you were making a tight fit between three defenders. It took a great play to pull that off, whereas Kelce was open on the drag route immediately. Given that it was third and short, tossing it to him in that situation is almost a certain catch and conversion.
TE drag routes are unstoppable against zone coverage in football video games if you time the throw correctly. [Reply]
