This was a good excuse to practice my newfound SQL skills (because ChatGPT now exists). So here are some charts just for fun:
These only look at "active users" who have posted at least 100 times in the past 12 months. It's certainly true that there hasn't been as much "new blood" in recent years, but it's not as much of a drop off as I would have guessed (2023 doesn't really count). And it's also kind of amazing that about 10% of our active users have been here since the beginning (51 out of 474 active users). [Reply]

Yeah, that year definitely looks like a bit of a bust. I suppose we were settling into the doldrums of the Andy and Alex era. And while we did win our first playoff game in forever during that season, it didn't actually happen until 2016. :-) [Reply]
