You can still get the flu and die from it even with the shot but the odds are greatly reduced and symptoms are reduced and it would also reduce the infected which in turn reduces you risk of getting it in the first place.

A form of the virus has been in animals for years. That’s why they are testing positive.

I am curious as to who had balls big enough to swab a fucking tiger.

Here is what one of the commanders of Taiwan's Infectious Disease Teams said in interview they are doing and really is what we should be doing.

In Taiwan the government did very well. After SARS we practiced and practiced very often for the next outbreak. You know before that we had H1N1, H5N7, H7N9, H5N1 and also a lot of infectious diseases. We also faced some true epidemics, but this is a very, very serious one.

At the end of the day we need an effective vaccine, we need effective drugs but before that the only thing we can do is face mask and hygiene, try to reduce mobility, mortality and infection rate. We need to change our lifestyle.

Its not that simple though and you know it. It's only much more deadly to a specific demographic.

Strange, but I guess it could be good if it meant people who’ve been essential aren’t getting it as much due to immunity levels.

I won’t comment on the fruit, just the tiger and the goat.

Yes, it is that simple. It's deadlier and new. That's why we, and everyone else, locked down.

If you want to try to argue that the CFR is the same as seasonal flu, sure, we can do that.

You are wrong which is evidenced by you ignoring my point so no need to discuss further.

I'm not wrong. This is new/novel. Seasonal flu is not. It's CFR is also higher than seasonal flu.

I'm aware that COVID-19 kills more elderly than young. So does seasonal flu. That doesn't change the fact that the CFR is higher than seasonal flu, which I presume you aren't going to try to dispute.

Cuomo said 27% of the hospitalizations were under 51, the young may not be dying but it is still affecting them causing potential long term damage an d reduced life expectancy.
