Nzoner's Game Room>Tyreek Hill injury updates.
Hammock Parties 12:52 PM 09-08-2019
Someone just told me Tyreek Hill could be out 6-8 weeks.

This is the same source that told me he would receive 0 games 20 minutes before the national media broke it.

Take it for what it's worth.

EDIT: IT WAS WORTH NOTHING

Here is an explanation from the #Chiefs on WR Tyreek Hill, who was taken to a local hospital. pic.twitter.com/gxcl2nqFu0

Per source, no surgery for Tyreek Hill but he will miss a couple of weeks.

Confirmed, per source, Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill had a posterior SC (sternoclavicular) dislocation which was successfully reduced in the hospital. No surgery required. He will stay overnight.

Word that Tyreek Hill has a right clavicle injury mean no obvious fracture on stadium x-rays. Further eval w/ CT Monday probable. Fracture would cause 8 week absence.

So basically it could be broke, but if so, it’s like a hairline.... not easily detected.

Of fucking course, the Chiefs finally have a team that is SB worthy and since we have the worst luck imaginable, our potential HOF WR gets hurt just after he signs an extension. Weve had pretty bad luck when it comes to signing guys to big extensions and them getting hurt.

Could just be that they didn't have the equipment to test for whatever they think Tyreek might have. Or it could be that his arm fell off and he's in emergency surgery. Will know soon.

I had not thought about that.. don't take that as sarcasm...

This is why AR is great.

Tyreek Hill suffered a shoulder injury during the game that required him to go to a local hospital to get it treated by their trauma department. No timetable or any other information was given.

You need to hope Sammy can actually stay healthy for the next 8 weeks. Has he ever done that for 8 weeks in a row throughout his career? He failed to do it last year. They're paying him a lot of money for exactly this scenario. He was awesome today and he needs to stay healthy, keep up the strong performances.

Trauma department? Interesting. That's generally referred to as an emergency room. Trauma team would mean potential surgery

Post game on red zone said it was a dislocation between the clavical and sternum?

Why would that type of injury require him to go to a trauma center for treatment?
