Nzoner's Game Room>Tyreek Hill injury updates.
Hammock Parties 12:52 PM 09-08-2019
Someone just told me Tyreek Hill could be out 6-8 weeks.

This is the same source that told me he would receive 0 games 20 minutes before the national media broke it.

Take it for what it's worth.

EDIT: IT WAS WORTH NOTHING

Here is an explanation from the #Chiefs on WR Tyreek Hill, who was taken to a local hospital. pic.twitter.com/gxcl2nqFu0

Per source, no surgery for Tyreek Hill but he will miss a couple of weeks.

Confirmed, per source, Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill had a posterior SC (sternoclavicular) dislocation which was successfully reduced in the hospital. No surgery required. He will stay overnight.

And it's hard to get an accurate picture of the danger with x-rays because they are fine structures and usually soft structures.

It's not like a knee or shoulder where you tear something and it takes a long time to heal. If something gets jostled there, it can be reset if done carefully, but until it's reset, it's in danger of moving around and pinching off a nerve or cutting a blood vessel or puncturing a lung, which can be really really bad really quick. So best to be careful.

Rapoport said it’s the same injury Packers receiver Jake Kumerow had last season. Kumerow missed two months.

Yes but it varies in severity. So far sounds like Hill is on the lighter end of prognosis.

Sounds a lot like how this thread went! At least the part about speculation to the injury. We all want to know and we want to know right now! When is the Cheetah going to run wild again?

Son of a bitch.

#TyreekHill @Chiefs is a candidate for IR.
See my 150+ word explanation as to why and when he might return at https://t.co/dFDT8os6QG. Full article coming at @sdut. https://t.co/4A8itMk93V

Yeah motherfuckers on Twitter are being ruthless. All on what a couple reporters decided was and was not a fact....and the ridiculous bullshit with the Johnson County DA with his wanting his 5 minutes of meaning anything. That is a piece of shit that would give Pryor a run for her money in the ruining lives shit without having any evidence that brought them to their conclusions. Hopefully they both die in an AIDS fire.

This still seems murky.
It depends on how much the ligaments were disturbed in the disloc and reloc.

Smooth in, smooth out. . . . couple weeks rest and recup
Inflame the ligaments in or out, and a few more weeks to reduce inflammation and restore the joint.
