So, I watched a bunch of interviews down on the field, and all of them said the same thing, essentially, about Patrick. It was Andy, Kelce, Toney and Bolton were the ones I caught.
They all said some form or another of “he’s hurt but we know he’s going to give us everything he’s got, so we have to too.”
All these were dudes on the field after the game. If it was anything but that many dudes at that time saying it, I’d hand wave it. But I think that part is real.
