If Grimes is half the player he was supposed to be, we aren't in this position. He is half what Selden was as a Frosh, which is about 25% what Grimes was supposed to be.

The guy is the best coach in KState history in like the last 30 years. He alreqdy has one Big 12 title to his name too.

The thing is, this won’t be the last time the streak is referenced.

“KU has won the B12 conference 16 of the last 17 seasons...”

“KU has won their 25th B12 title in the last 27 seasons...”

Phrases like this will keep the streak relevant to the rest of the league.

It truly is an amazing streak. I doubt you will see anything like it in a Major Conference again.

2013 was probably the most incredible part.

K State only lost 1 non-KU game in conference play. In most years, that runs away with the league.

Kansas needed a McLemore 7 for 7 from 3 with a banked in 3 at the buzzer to force overtime and beat Iowa State, a Naadir Tharpe winner against Ok St, and Elijah Johnson going for a ridiculous 39 at Iowa State to share the title.

I don't understand how people think dedric lawson is going to the association next year when he has a 2 inch vert. He was below the rim and jumped two feet yesterday and barely off the ground. Steph Curry dunking showed he might be able to block dedrics shot. Now lawson stretching the floor or doing some pick and pop kind of shit might be ok but man he is painfully white.
