Nzoner's Game Room>Anyone here doing the E-Cig / Vape thing?
pr_capone 03:05 AM 11-17-2013
Thanks to my vape, I've had only one single cigarette in the past 3 weeks. I have zero cravings for them and I feel considerably better. In fact, I still have about 5 smokes left in a pack and just can't see myself smoking those... don't want to.

Even better... 5ml of juice, which costs $5, lasts me about 2 weeks meaning that I am spending less in the long run. I only smoked, at most, a pack a week... but still.

I tried the Blu E-Cigs but they were terrible. Trying to "smoke" out of one of those was like trying to take a hit off a joint that was rolled WAY to tight.

I'm using an eGo-V v2 mega battery with variable voltage control with a gravity tank.

I bumped up to this from an ego c twist at the start of the year - its pretty sweet - I just wish it had the option to handle the sub ohm resistances

I use the itazte for work and the wooden spinner and zmax stay at home.
Nice. I'd kill for a sonic screwdriver style set up.

Does it fit the hand well? I'm thinking about grabbing one. I pretty much stick with the iClear 16's.

I kept breaking the egos by sticking them in my pocket and then sitting down. Got the itazte and it hits like a freight train.

I use the MVP also with an Evod tank.

I have an Itaste I love the watt usage. It makes changing tanks so much easier.

I use a Vison Spinner 1300 for power. It goes from 3.3 volts to 4.8 volts. I have seen them for $20-$25. This one is $24.95: http://www.myvaporstore.com/Vision_S...p/vs-s1300.htm

I use an iClear 16 chamber to vape the fluid (this one is $5.59):

I get the fluid at 5$ to $10 for a 15ml bottle. Your best bet is to go local with those and try out different flavors and nicotine levels. With that set up you won't miss smoking at all. You won't ever want to smoke again.

I just got the same setup as listopencil (thanks for the links). There were no instructions, but it was not difficult to assemble and apply the juice. It didn't realize a charger wasn't in those links but I got one a couple days later. I got the fluid from Vapedudes. The Banana cream pie taste great but I think I'm hitting it wrong because it's rough as hell. Flop mentioned it earlier in the thread. Would someone explain the best way to hit these things? There are an overwhelming number of vids on youtube. Thanks a bunch.

I just do, slow and deep breaths.

I vape like I'm hitting weed. Close the throat, all into the moth, then a quick inhale and then exhale.

When I first started though it was just very harsh. Also the higher the nicotine level, the more harsh it will be.

Thanks. I'll experiment a bit on the hit. I have 24mg right now. I think I'll try some 16mg. Hopefully 0mg someday.

No wonder you spend so much money on pot. Inhale that shit and hold as long as possible.

Sorry about the lack of a charger. I had one left over from the e-cigs and got another when I bought the fluid locally. I didn't even think of it. Glad you were able to easily get one. There are a lot of variables that change how a vape feels when you take a hit. I start on the lowest voltage and fill my mouth with vapor, then inhale. I would also say try different fluids. A lot of the stores that sell stuff will let you try out flavors.

One thing to keep in mind is that this battery is only 25 bucks. It's a cheap way to start vaping. This thing isn't going to last forever, especially if you are clumsy and drop it a lot. I grabbed an iTaste VV 3.0 (http://www.myvaporstore.com/Innokin_...V3_0_s/132.htm) to use as a back up (because I'm a fiend) and I like it. It's my main one now. You can leave it plugged in to your PC and use it as it charges, which is convenient. I am liking the Innokin stuff. I think I am ready to take another step up and get one with removable rechargeable batteries.

I have my eye on the Innokin iTaste SVD. It kind of looks like a light saber:
