I don't watch New Girl but caught the beginning of the re-airing of "the Prince episode" the other night so I hit record. watched last night. I figured he'd make a cameo. it was much more than that! pretty funny actually. he has a big part.....many lines....and performed.
one thing I found funny was at one point he had a butterfly land on his shoulder by his command. later he's kicking New Girls ass in ping pong. OK...so at the END he's playing one of the other girl characters in ping pong and she bashes one on him. he gets all upset...throws the ping pong racket down and runs outta the room....and a second later this butterfly follows him out. too funny..... Used to spend my allowances special ordering his first four albums at the now defunct local record store (RIP record stores), you could get 1999 and Purple Rain anywhere, but not those first ones
