Quick breakdown of Missouri deaths.

Of the deaths, 230 have been people 80 years of age or older; 122 were in their 70s; 86 were in their 60s and 37 were in their 50s. 12 of the deaths were patients under the age of 50. One death occured in a patient under 30.

It was halfway about that and halfway about delaying cases until a treatment or vaccine is found. How long do we want to delay on the hopes that a reliable medical intervention can be discovered?

It was always mostly about minimizing infections and therefore deaths. Not overrunning the hospitals was just part of that.

Wrong. It was about slowing then rate so the hospitals didn't get bombarded. Slowing and reducing are not the same thing though reduction was a hoped for byproduct. Nonetheless it was not the goal.
