Saccopoo Memorial Draft Forum>Crazy 2 Round Mock (or is it?)
kccrow 06:43 PM 03-27-2021
How I feel the 1st Round could go. Will it be a historic trade-fest in round 1?

1. JAX - QB Zach Wilson, BYU
Jags grab the highest upside QB who can simply make every throw with ease from any platform.
2. NYJ - QB Trevor Lawrence, Clemson
Jets get the safer QB with a little less upside but far better than Darnold
3. SF (f/HOU v/MIA) - QB Mac Jones, Alabama
Shanahan finally gets his Kirk Cousins-type QB
4. CIN (f/ATL) - TE Kyle Pitts, Florida
Cincy moves up a spot for a 4th and snags their top target
5. LAC (f/CIN v/ATL) - LT Penei Sewell, Oregon
Atlanta drops a pick and then drops 8 more to give the Chargers a stud LT, picking up a 2nd next year and 3rd this year.
6. MIA (f/PHI) - WR JaMarr Chase, LSU
Miami's moving and shaking still nets them the top WR
7. WAS (f/DET) - QB Trey Lance, ND State
The 'Skins fly up and snag their QB over the Panthers, giving up a 1st next year and 3rd this year.
8. CAR - QB Justin Fields, Ohio State
The Panthers couldn't move up with Atlanta as they wanted and Detroit gains far more from Washington but they still get a mobile QB with upside.
9. DEN - LB Micah Parsons, Penn State
The Broncos stay put and snag a superstar at a position of dire need.
10. DAL - CB Patrick Surtain II, Alabama
The 'Boys finally fix that secondary adding the draft's premier CB target
11. DET (f/NYG) - WR Jaylen Waddle, Alabama
The Lions moved from 7 to 19 but come back up to get a playmaker in Waddle before the Iggles giving up their own 3rd this year and 4th next.
12. PHI (f/SF v/MIA) - WR DaVonta Smith, Alabama
The Eagles still get a high-end receiver after dropping 6 slots out.
13. ATL (f/LAC) - LB Jeremiah Owusu Koramoah, Notre Dame
The Falcons get a quality LB that they need after loading up on picks
14. MIN - ER Kwity Paye, Michigan
Minnesota gets the best edge prospect at 14, which is kind of scary
15. JAX (f/NE) - LT Christian Darrisaw, Virginia Tech
The Pats miss out on QBs so are willing to move while the Jags come up from 25 by adding their 2nd round pick 45 and NE kicks back a 4th 122. The Jags improve LT over Cam Robinson, who they can trade off the tag.
16. ARZ - CB Caleb Farley, Virginia Tech
The Cards need a CB, nuff said.
17. LV - OL Rashawn Slater, Northwestern
Slater goes a long way in revamping that Raiders OL and he can play any position.
18. MIA - ER Azeez Ojulari, Georgia
The Phins get the draft's best 3-4 edge by just staying at 18.
19. NYG (f/WAS v/DET) - ER Gregory Rousseau, Miami
The Giants get much-needed edge help with Rousseau after moving down 8 and picking up some capital.
20. CHI - DT Christian Barmore, Alabama
Chicago rolls the dice on a stud 5-tech for their 3-4 front after missing out on a QB once again.
21. IND - LT Samuel Cosmi, Texas
The Colts get their replacement for Costanzo
22. TB (f/TEN) - RB Najee Harris, Alabama
With few holes, the Bucs come up and grab the best RB the draft has had in years giving up a 2nd this year and conditional 4th in 2022.
23. NYJ (f/SEA) - CB Jaycee Horn, South Carolina
Jets get a cover man on the outside that they desperately need
24. PIT - OC Landon Dickerson, Alabama
The Steelers take the chance on a monster at center.
25. NE (f/JAX) - CB Greg Newsome III, Northwestern
Bill gets a CB so he can keep McCourty at safety.
26. JAX (f/CLE) - FS Trevon Moehrig, Texas Christian
Meyer grabs a playmaker for his back end from 33 with a swap of 3rd round picks to CLE.
27. BAL - ER Jaelen Phillips, Miami
The Ravens work to replenish their edge group after losing their top two in Judon and Ngakoue.
28. NO - WR Kadarius Toney, Florida
The Saints replace Emmanuel Sanders and keep a dynamic athlete on the perimeter
29. GB - LB Zaven Collins, Tulsa
The Pack get a LB that they can use in multiple ways similar to former Packer Clay Matthews
30. CIN (f/BUF) - OT/G Alijah Vera Tucker, USC
The Bengals move up to get a guard, worried KC or TEN might take Vera Tucker as a tackle, swapping 3rds with Buffalo
31. KC - LT Liam Eichenberg, Notre Dame
The Chiefs stand pat and grab a steady tackle to protect their half a billion-dollar man.
32. TEN (f/TB) - WR Rashod Bateman, Minnesota
The Titans replace Davis with a better version.

And the 2nd...

I'm worried Brown won't be there anywhere near where I have him now and yes, Brown light years ahead of Wallace.

I gotta keep Chris Simms off my boy's jock strap.

I love Dyami Brown. My new OT crush is Christensen out of BYU. Rock solid in both blocking phases. Either in the 2nd round would be phenomenal.

Maybe, but it's a really underwhelming group once you get out of the 2nd round. I might would project Turner, but I like a couple of project guys later though like Odundeji, Robinson, and Smith. They just aren't guys you can plug in as starters.

5th maybe. I wouldn't take a player on day 2 that just tore his Achilles.

He was never a dominant player to begin with, more of a 3rd round guy to start.

Add in 2 years before he's back to whatever will be his 100% going forward? Sorry, not taking that shot on day 2. No way.
