With the draft class in the books, the 49ers take a look and share their thoughts.
With Jackson Powers-Johnson, San Francisco adds the top interior lineman in the draft and a Day 1 starter who can help shore up its offensive line. Marshawn Kneelend is an excellent fit at DE for their scheme who should be able to fit in the rotation in Year 1 as well.
Most of the rest of the draft is about additional depth, but the 49ers were thrilled to add James Williams as a player they can convert to LB and serve as a speedy, coverage-focused running mate for Fred Warner, especially if Dre Greenlaw does not recover from his blown Achilles'.
Robinson is a speedy, versatile back who could be a fun toy for Shanahan as a run-receiving threat. [Reply]
