Classic PB idiocy.
Winning the Farm League 14 times in a row > Final Four. I'm not sure whether you can spot the subtle difference in that argument given how fucking retarded you are.
Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, gives a fuck about the teams who made the Final Four in 2009. Shit, I would bet money you couldn't name the four teams without looking them up.
Everyone who is a fan of college basketball knows about the UCLA record.
Winning 14 Farm League titles in a row is a historic achievement that will never get repeated again. I'd rather Kansas make history. [Reply]

I'm tired of arguing with people about this. Your goal is to get the highest seed you can, and Bill Self has done that in his time here. In fact, KU has the HIGHEST average seed of ANY team in the last 14 years. That doesn't always equal FFs and National Championships in a six game single elimination tournament. In gambling terms, KU has just "run bad" and been unlucky.
You can't pick NOT winning the league instead of Final Fours. You try to do both, and let the chips fall where they may in the NCAA Tournament. [Reply]

Highest average seed, but only two final 4's and one national championship. Don't get me wrong, i want them to win the conference, but i won't be upset if they don't.
Selfs goal every year should be a final four. But i know, i know muh crapshoot.

We have a million big xii titles.
It has nothing to do with "focus" or "goals." KU didn't win conference titles for over a decade because they focused on them more than anybody else at the detriment of the NCAA tournament. It has to do with KU having the most dominant run in college basketball history over the past 13 years, a run that will almost certainly never be replicated.
The fact that it is coming to an end this year also doesn't make them any more likely to do better in the NCAA tournament. In actuality, it makes them far more likely to do worse. [Reply]

Unless we're winning more national titles at the same time, I certainly wouldn't. All Final Fours guarantee you is the right to be the second or third loser in a 68 team tournament. I don't get the infatuation with them. [Reply]

If they were actually underachieving, but it has been proven repeatedly that this isn't the case and that KU wins more regularly in the NCAA tournament than anybody not named Duke over the past couple decades. [Reply]
