There's a study of 100 patients that showed 78% with at least elevated troponins.

Presumably most had to be pretty sick to get into the hospital registry, but they said some were even asymptomatic. So maybe hospital workers got in there too.

It’s more about catching water drops or aerosols so this doesn’t really say anything about mask efficacy imo
Thank you for your insight. I clearly had no idea and was just taking the gentleman in the video at his word.

He was also blowing the vapor at terminal velocity obviously.

If it’s mostly thru aerosols they ain’t leaving the masks that way so the smoke video doesn’t make much of a difference is what I was trying to say.

Atleast that’s my interpretation of it.

Biggest issue I see with mask wearing is contamination anyway

While most of the U.S. waits 7 to 14 days for coronavirus test results, at some parties hosted by the wealthy in the Hamptons, expensive rapid tests that take less than 30 minutes are the price of admission https://t.co/ZUn3mMb6uu

I guess it's elsewhere that's taking that long, here in our area, it's 36 hours or less.

Our company does tests and it has improved slightly down from 10 days to about week now they said.

I know it was Sunday and all but yesterday was the lowest number of cases since June 23rd.

I think this chart is very interesting and provides some valuable perspective on things. This is for the state of Kansas.....

Particularly I notice the high number of ER visits in 2018 for ILI and then the surge in ILI in late 2019

I have read enough that IMO it is time to punt the PCR test and roll with the antigen testing going forward.

Diagnostically it’s still the standard

But for public health use it just is a limiting factor and you can’t really have that

I think that chart does a bad job of saying anything meaningful. It should be three lines for ILI specifically plotted against the suspected/confirmed C-19 cases.
