Have a nice evening.
We get it, Donger. You don't like what he said so we'll pretend he never said it. That's how you roll, we get it.

Meanwhile I think NYC is about to revolt over the mere hours of notice that schools are closing tomorrow.

Cuomo got into it with reporters saying schools aren't going to close to only have a reporter tell him literally minutes later that De Blasio closed the schools.

Shit ton of people super pissed in NYC at the moment.

The tweet is a lie. They are just there to get sprayed with the vaccine.

I thought maybe it was an unusually hot day and they were all there to get play in the water hose and stuff.

Minnesota killed all sports. Shut down restaurants, fitness centers and bars for four weeks.

Lockdowns are starting to spread across the country. I have a bad feeling about this because they seem to be going further than just shutting down some businesses. Telling people how many people they can have in their homes. Some saying you have to wear your mask even in your home. After all the crap that has gone on from protests this summer to recently leaders like Gov. Newsome in CA not practicing what they preach, this might be a bad, bad thing.

Parents are tired of the yo-yo with schools. Businesses are becoming desperate and their employees by extension. Curfews are pointless. The big difference this time around is no assistance this time around. No PPP or expanded UEI.

We already see the protests going on in Europe over their lockdowns. I don't think this is going to go over well here either.

Who gets the first vaccines?

The first shots will be offered to vulnerable groups like medical and nursing home workers, and people with serious health conditions.

I’d say that’s controversial free. But who gets the vaccine next?

An expert panel advising the CDC are meeting next week to determine the order of priority for vaccines distribution.

Another topic....

Since both vaccines are at 95% effective rate. Can we pick which vaccine we get?

Seems like the vaccine you only have to get once is going to be a lot more popular than the one that you have to get 3 weeks apart.

Just to be clear, it’s not months apart from doses of the vaccine. It’s 2 or 3 weeks apart. Just want to clarify that.

Just got off the phone with a friend of mine who lives in Strasbourg France and he says although they are back in lockdown, kids remain in school as that is considered "essential".

My dad is 70 years old and undergoing cancer treatment every two weeks. I took him to his treatment on Monday and they told us that prior to the end of the year, they're hoping to start issuing the vaccines to patients when they come in for treatments, but no official word yet.

makes sense. Why not. The one vaccine that just needs normal medical refrigeration would do well in those offices. They already know how to store drugs properly.

The Lancet had an update on the Oxford phase 2 results. It seems promising. We should get early phase 3 results before the years end. This will be much easier to mass distribute if it's effective. Takes two shots and time

The T-cell response - another measure of how well the immune system responds - peaked two weeks after the first dose of the vaccine, regardless of age.
