We all have varying opinions about the impact of this, the numbers, etc. We will all never agree with each other. But we can all keep it civil.

Thanks!

That's the only side effect I had as well. I avoided any type of acetaminophen or ibuprofen and the pain completely subsided within about 36 hours.

Then we'll start hitting a point relatively quickly where suddenly the infection rates start plummeting as the virus unsuccessfully bounces off of more and more people, limiting its pathways. Then as the vaccination rates get high (80+) the impact will get small again as connections between non-vaxxed people let it survive. Of course it won't go to zero until pretty much everyone is vaxxed up.

We would still be in the top part of the curve now, improving but not yet significant.

When [(Infections+Vaccinations)/330,000,000] > 1-(1/R0), the epidemic dies out.

In local NW Missouri news, which I know doesn't impact many on here.

Our local hospital is at 40 inpatients today. (Covid patients, I guess I should clarify) The lowest number since September 24th.

My brother was diagnosed 2 days ago and says it's not bad just stressful. He's pretty young and in good shape so it's not all doom and gloom. Eat your Wheaties and exercise.

Yeah but my sister in law's best friend's husband's godmother said she knew a guy that was completely healthy and then spontaneously combusted and she's a nurse's aide so she knows science.

My friend who had it is doing a whole lot better. She's back at work full time. She's losing her hair which sucks for a thirty something female but it could be a lot worse.

My dad is slowly getting a little better too, I think.

Will most likely have a bit of a sore arm for 24-36 hours. That's about it.

Anyone been hearing that there may not be enough vaccine available to give the 2cd dose to people that have or are currently getting the 1st shot? I have seen that being talked about on local media including the Governor talking about how he has faith that the production will be able to keep up with the rate of the roll out. Which then made me wonder if that is true is that the reason that the roll out is so slow?
