Passenger jet breakes in two! How safe are those planes we ride everyday? :-)

GEORGETOWN, Guyana (AP) — Officials say a U.S. team is expected soon in the South American nation of Guyana to probe the crash of a Boeing 737 jetliner that all 163 people aboard survived.

Authorities so far have given little idea about the cause of Saturday's crash. The Caribbean Airlines plane ran off the end of a runway at Guyana's main airport and broke in two. About 30 people had to be treated at a local hospital, including the pilot.

The airline is largely owned by the government of Trinidad and Tobago and its prime minister has visited the crash site. Kamla Persad-Bissessar says she is worried that the accident will hurt tourism to the Caribbean, a region that depends heavily on the industry.

there is certainly a strong islamist group in turkey, the secular government has removed a rather large number of top military officials to prevent a possible coup and strengthen the hold of the secular government there...

and the parties that want to move towards a theocratic islamist state while having considerable support, are not large enough to win control of the government...

afaik, the turkish majority still want a secular society and a secular government...

of course, i could be wrong about all of this...

*ahem*

His son, Justin Fargas, played college football at Southern California. He was drafted by the dirty, stinking, rotten, Chokeland Faiders in the third round of the 2003 NFL Draft. He played there for 7 seasons. Fargas signed with the Denver Broncos on August 11, 2010. He was released by the Broncos on August 30, 2010. Now he ... oh who the hell cares?
Justin Fargas may be the worst human being on the planet. He's the son of a snitch, and he played for USC, the Raiders, and the Donks.

Anyone else find it amusing that, since this thread got rolling, Frankie has started a thread about his father being beaten (sympathy) and another about a show he watched featuring Stephen Hawking (genius)?

The dude is so transparent its pathetic. He won't even give any details about his dad's ordeal because it either didn't happen or it happened so long ago that it will be obvious that he is only bringing it up for sympathy.

Would you care to admit that this post was made in error and that I had in fact owned up to it several time?
Yes. I do. Especially since I know better now.

I was especially pissed at you because as I remember (or didn't remember) you and I had a respectful relationship here and I was surprised. That, and the fact that I have to type fast and furious during these idiot pile ons makes anyone prone to quick judgement. I hope that's a good enough explanation. :-)
