If we move Sneed I think we trade up to #24 with the Cowboys, Guyton or Thomas Jr.

That's cool I am just throwing ideas out there, if you will. I actually am cool with whatever we do. Move up, move down. Veach is in control and will make the best decisions in the end. :-)

People are really stoked for Veach to make a move for an offensive weapon. I don't see that move happening unless LT gets sorted somehow.

I hope we move up for a LT, not a WR. We’ve shown what we can do with average wrs. I want improvement but we signed Hollywood and this draft is deep at wr. LT in the 1st, maybe even move up. And move up & use the a sneed trade for Coleman at 50, if he’s available. That would be my favorite outcome.

Nabers is a HOF possible, and I’m liking Odunze more that before. BTJr just looks like a bust to me, awkward player. Franklin fits this offense a lot, maybe better than Worthy. We wouldn’t be upset with Worthy. I’m not that big on Ladd. Just don’t think he’s worth a 1st pick compared to the other players. He could be solid, could be pedestrian. Idk how tough he is.

It’s an all-time class, probably. Mahomes is entering his prime. I say we try to get 2 of them, if we can.

Here’s my Top 5 WRs. Rankings based on film.
Awesome group. So much to like with Nabers, Thomas, and Harrison. I just think the LSU guys are able to separate more and run by you better than Harrison

Yes if it can get his brother to the Chiefs at some point.

Can you imagine Christian McCaffrey in this offense

I know we missed on Skyy, or so it seems, but my God, wasn't much right before or after him... Pickens is good, but he's a head case diva.

This years class tiers:
Top 5 in a typical draft year:
Malik Nabors
MHJ
Rome Odunze

Top 10 in a typical draft year:
Brian Thomas Jr.

First round picks in a typical draft year:
AD Mitchell
Xavier Worthy
Ladd McConkey
Troy Franklin
Xavier Legette
Keon Coleman

Debatable first round picks in a typical draft year:
Roman Wilson
Jermaine Burton
Ricky pearsall

Second round picks in a typical draft year:
Jalen Polk
Jalen McMillan
Devontez Walker
Malachi Corley
Malik Washington

And so on. This is why I have such a hard on for rebuilding our wide receiver corps this year like we did three years ago with the DBs. Make Hay while the sun shines draft 3-4. I fon't care you can't over invest this year

Okay so that 90% contested catch rate graphic made me check out Cornelius Johnson from Michigan. Hadn't heard much about him.

His routes look super chunky and he lumbers around the field almost like a TE would if he were split wide. But then he's actually got a little sneaky speed to him, like you wouldn't expect him to be as fast as he is.

Ultimately I don't think he's a KC WR. Routes aren't clean enough.

I know DJLN hates RAS, but I was surprised to see his score. Worth noting the agility is missing, which is the biggest question mark after watching him on the field.

Cornelius Johnson is a WR prospect in the 2024 draft class. He scored an unofficial 9.91 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 29 out of 3063 WR from 1987 to 2024.

But Johnny Wilson is a guy in this draft.
