I guess we filled up the old one... http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=280149

Welcome to 2014! Now get your ass in top physical condition!

No one else started it so here it is!

**From the 2013 Thread**

If you want to get back into lifting, or need a new lifting routine, START HERE:

http://startingstrength.wikia.com/wi...inner_Programs

If you have questions about the SS programs, look here:

http://startingstrength.wikia.com/wiki/FAQ

Keep in mind that you're a novice lifter for a longer period of time than you think you are. Novice lifting can last anywhere from a few months to a year or two, depending on how hard you hit the weights and where you started.

Once you've reached the point where you don't make regular progress on the SS program, you are ready to move on to the intermediate stage, which can last you for a good number of years. Find it HERE:

http://madcow.hostzi.com/5x5_Program/Linear_5x5.htm

If you're a very advanced lifter (many, many years of CONSISTENT weight training), then there are lot of programs out there, and which one you pick is simply a matter of preference. If you're really that advanced, you should know what works for you and what doesn't by this point.

Yes. If you only have access to one get dumbbells. If you have access to both use both. You are going to emphasize different heads of the bicep depending on your motion using either but the dumbbells will provide the greatest variety of movements.

How can I take you seriously when you don't lift weights in your 20s? you are nothing but a degenerate in my eyes srs. The prime age for men is his 20s and every man should be lifting till they are 30 and real life such as family takes a toll on them A man is suppose to be strong and dominant and suppose to have heaps of strength. That's one of the great qualities that makes a man. When I see a skinny fat or overweight man I push my nails into my thighs from becoming mad and am left with stretch marks that fatties get from running a treadmill for 30 seconds the next day. This is not how men are suppose to be or look like. They are suppose to be the ones that come out on top. It's no apparent why woman are taking over and have endless options. how can they take men who don't lift seriously? They have a better physique that non lifters. Whenever I see people around my age that don't lift I think to myself how their ancestors would be disgraced after passing down there genetics for decades and decades. Luckily for me I lift 5 days a week and do 60 min cardio after because I'm a real man. Look if you are in you're 20s you NEEED to lift. It has to be a daily routine or no woman or no man who lifts can ever take you seriously.

Still rocking and rolling, losing weight and eating right.

That said, I've seen the weight come off and I'm wanting more of that. I've got about 20 lbs to go, which, assuming I don't hit any plateaus, I should be at goal in 12 or so weeks.

My buddy is in my ear saying, "why not just try Hydroxycut for a few weeks to speed things up, since you're already living a healthy lifestyle?"

Now, I'm committed to the lifestyle change. But if this shit could shave some time off before I reach my goals, I'm down to try it.

From what I've read, its basically just green tea extract - is that correct? If so, should I just be chugging Green Tea?

Would love to know your thoughts.
