I can see a situation similiar to Bledsoe/Brady, Romo/Prescott here. I saw 6/7 WSU games last season, trust me Minshew can play. I have no problems seeing him taking Foles job away, just think Matt Flynn/Russell Wilson.
The way I judge a rookie QB is very simple. Does he look nervous? Is he making plays downfield? Is he accurate? I'd say he did very well in all of these areas. I certainly didn't expect as much poise out of him as he showed.
I don't know if he'll be a starter in this league, but he certainly has a future as a
GOOD backup in this league, which he already is. [Reply]

I think you pretty much nailed it. Decision making and protecting the ball for a young guy very important.
I saw Rodgers at Cal, Luck at Stanford, Darnold/Rosen, they had nothing on Minshew at the NCAA level. [Reply]

Did you guys know that one of these QBs is black, and one of them is white?
*waits for this dweeb to search my thread history to find one with a small number of replies, with his trademark punchline "ok guy?" at the end* [Reply]

It looked like he had it between the ears last week.
