We missed out on the matchup with Rodgers last year when Mahomes was out, so I’d rather go against Green Bay. And like every other decent person on this planet I hate Brady with a passion, which is the other reason I would like to see GB win. [Reply]
I’d rather see Mahomes beat Brady in the SB this year. Might be Brady’s last shot in a SB, and would love Patrick to hoist the trophy on Brady’s field, in a passing of the torch/revenge game for when they took the Hunt trophy from us on our field in 2019. [Reply]
On paper, TB is probably the more complete team. Much better defense, and more offensive receiving weapons.
Tom Brady is actually the weak link for Tamba.
The equalizer might be the weather. Most of the TB players probably haven't played in GB in January. And we've seen GB weather turn good teams into bumbling, stumbling versions of themselves plenty of times. And it'll probably take TB a few series to get his arm warmed up.
If the weather does become a factor for TB, I like Aaron Rodgers to dominate this game. [Reply]
I wouldn't worry too much about Brady's arm in bad weather, he's definitely no stranger to it... that said, were I a betting man my money is going on Green Bay
Tampa just isn't a team yet, they're still somewhat a collection of mercenaries learning how to work with one another IMO
Rodgers with those receivers and three very good backs should easily be able to outscore Tampa [Reply]
I think it'll be Tampa Bay. Listening to the radio today and the guy was talking about Green Bay and how they've had the easiest schedule in the NFL. He was also talking about Rodgers protection. I guess he has the lowest pressure rate, but GB has only played 3 Ds that are in the top 14 in pressure rate and those teams were able to pressure AR easy. Tampa was one of those 3 and Rodgers was trash against them. [Reply]
Mahomes to exorcise all demons: next up beating the Packers in the Superbowl to revenge our loss in #1 and the loss when Rogers beat Matt Moore. [Reply]
