This is no different than any of the other countless times injuries played a role in titles won (Kyrie/Love going down for the Cavs, CP3 going down in Houston, Kawhi going down the first time for the Spurs, Durant/Klay going down, etc.). Often the team healthiest at the end is who wins these things.
