Later in life of course. But still....back then shit bands get run and virtuosos like George didn't. Satch too
Joe Satriani has been one of the most popular selling artists worldwide for the last 25 years.

George, unfortunately, can't avoid the drama. Between Dokken and his own band Lynch Mob, which has seen more personnel changes than the Chiefs this past four years, he can't seem to get out of his own way.

Yeah, I agree. Weak video of meaningingless wanking.

He's usually much better. The new Lynch Mob EP is cool, although Robbie Crane already quit.

I'm a fan of George, and "Mr. Scary" is his signature solo. That said, my top four are Satriani, Vai, Eric Johnson and Brian Carroll.

Meaningless wanking? :-)

His meaningless wanking is better than most people's concerted efforts.

There was alot of great "Guitar Gods" from the hair metal era, but unfortunately, people laugh off alot of that era now.

Slash
Mick Mars
Vinnie Vincent
Vitto Bratta
nuno bettencourt
Vai
Vivian Campbell
Steve Clark

but my fav is probably Stevie Ray Vaughn who was born of that era, but pretty far removed from it obviously.

That list is sorta funny. Vita Bratta was nothing more than an EVH wanna-be. Mick Mars I think is very underrated. Vinnie Vincent I always thought of as a bit of a joke. Slash has his moments.

Absolutely. Still listen to my "Lynch Mob" and "Wicked Sensation" CD's on a regular basis.
