We all have varying opinions about the impact of this, the numbers, etc. We will all never agree with each other. But we can all keep it civil.

Thanks!

On average the number of deaths from pneumonia is somewhere around 55k in the US but according to the link below we are already over 111k this year. Does that mean we have a ton of deaths misdiagnosed as pneumonia when they were actually Covid. Making the total number of deaths closer to 160k?

There are certainly some deaths that haven’t been counted, but there are also some that have been counted that shouldn’t have. Ultimately when everything is settled, there will be analysis of excess deaths that will illuminate the true impact.

Currently, excess deaths analysis says the number is between 111K and 154K depending on the level of conservatism you want to inject.

24/7 mask wearing would have prevented that, right?

Assuming they wear the mask while doing the horizontal mambo with the spouse, yes.

If residents of the household all wore masks when they left the house, yes. Definitely could have prevented it. But I mean who gives a shit about preventing something that has killed more Americans than WW1, The Vietnam War, 9/11, and Desert Storm combined. I mean, who gives a shit if they aren't killed by a country or war we can see amirite?

Refrigerator trucks are positioned outside major hospitals in Phoenix.

NYC 2.0 here.

Didn’t think we’d get to this. Very sad.

Be positive, you ain't quite there yet. Remember, NY had 1,000+ people a day dying. Let's hope you don't get close to that.

It’s not about touching their death count (We won’t due to lower population), it’s about hospitals being maxed to capacity that we have a need for body trucks in the parking lot. That’s just so disheartening to see when you work in healthcare. I’ve seen lots of people die in front of me, but a makeshift morgue in parking lots just feels different.

My point was lets hope your death count doesn't start shooting up.

JFC, hang in there... hopefully all of the dipshits out there start cooperating to slow this down.

.....do you actually think this is what the order means?

In the words of Andy Dufresne, why are you being so obtuse?
