Antonio Brown likely forfeits $9M signing bonus from Patriots b/c of a contract clause calling for players to disclose situations preventing availability, per league source. This could lead to a grievance, but source says that money is 'gone.' Brown was due $5M Monday

As Amnorix has mentioned our defense has been playing solid since the end of last year. With draft picks and FA pick ups we have improved on D. Time will tell were we stand, but so far our D has been playing solid.
As for KC v. Pats. it kind of comes down to . . .
Pats O v. KC D and how that compares to the KC O v. Pats D.
Sure KC has a great offense, the key is can the KC offense going up against our D outpace what the Pats O can do to your D. [Reply]

So it happened.
And it happens a lot in the NFL, not just in NE. Pats have their policies, which are similar with some NFL teams and different than other NFL teams.
And the Pats released him a week and change after signing him. [Reply]

They clearly knew at one point and still had him practice and played in a live NFL game. There's absolutely no way to dispute or defend it.
The Patriots have a culture of sex crime acceptance as long as it means winning a game.
Agreed. But the fact that those scumbags tried to retroactively claim ignorance is just another day at the office for the pats. I hope this whole thing unravels on them magnificently. Hopefully a legal battle will lead to them owing Brown money and losing high draft picks for tampering. [Reply]

No other way to save face at this point. They tried to save face when they came out and told us that they "never would have signed him had they known beforehand."
They knew. And you know they knew. There is no way the Patriot Way didn't vet Brown before hand. They were just so focused on getting him after he fucked over the Raiders that they didn't give a shit.
