BBQ Vienna Sausages and a hand full of Chicken in a Biscuit crackers. Canned a bunch of shit all day. Last thing I wanted to do was stand over the stove some more.

OH MY GOD YOU DIRTY LITTLE PORK SLUT! I WANNA MARRY YOU AFTER THOSE TWO PICTURES! :-)

That is not fair and I will be downloading that first photo of the pork loin to fap to. It's all your fault!

Damn you Julia Child of CP! :-)

Yum! I made my first batch of homemade ice-cream yesterday. Was pretty easy. Tho' I never used my ice cream maker in the 18 years I had it.

Actually the ice cream was Ben & Jerrys. I don't have an ice cream maker, but that does sound like a good idea...

Good call on the avocado, I'll try that next time. The smoked chicken was a nice touch, but I'll probably sub in a rotisserie chicken from the grocery store whenever I don't feel like messing with the smoker.

Because I can't find amaretto flavored gelato anywhere, I decided to finally make my own. I had it at the Charlotte airport once and it was awesome. Serious Eats is an excellent site for guiding you through the myths and pitfalls of ice-cream making through several articles.

Ben & Jerry's ice cream is good quality imo. Love their Cherry Garcia.

Taco Tuesday turned into to taco Wednesday. Had the neighbors over and made taco salad. I got lazy and full of beer.

Made brunch for the lady today. Black garlic puree stir fry with smoked pork belly and a sous vide poached egg. Used some red bell pepper and green onion we had on-hand. Pretty happy with it.

Doing some dirty rice later, nothing fancy just cajun comfort food

But it'll be authentic with the holy trinity, garlic, olive oil, beef broth, and plenty of cajun seasoning
