#Patriots have talked about trading 2019 Defensive player of the year, CB Stephon Gilmore, per @AlbertBreer
They were in contact and had conversations with teams about trading him in August - Could be a trade target again with Pats going through a losing season without Tom Brady pic.twitter.com/I9SIYJexzP
I saw Gilmore at Bury The Hatchet in Overland Park. They taped a picture of Belichick and he was chucking hatchets at it. He said he was looking at mobile homes in Belton. [Reply]

He's not the player he used to be. He's not worth a 2nd, let alone a 1st AND a 2nd.
We're not giving up high picks for a 30-year old corner that's lost a step so just stop.
It's funny: Belichick is a "genius" for signing a guy like Gilmore yet there's an entire thread dedicated to acquiring a guy that he wants to get rid of as soon as possible.
Gilmore is 30 years old, an age in which the overwhelming majority of CB's begin to slide down the cliff.
I mean hell, wasn't the ghost of Darrell Revis enough proof? Or Sherm, who to me was a superior CB to Gilmore? [Reply]

First of all, he's not a "stud". He's 30 years old and showing signs of age.
Second, his price tag will likely be 1 or 2 high picks plus money.
That's the last thing the Chiefs should be doing right now. They're already tight on money and need every pick they have to keep the roster from falling off behind the big contracts. [Reply]
