speaking of Jersey's...when my wife and I first started dating, we went to a Chiefs game, and I show up to pick her up at her house, and she answers the door wearing a mesh jersey, like the old school high school jerserys. I figured, ok cool. old, but Red jersey. that'[ll work.

as she lets' me in the house, and turns to walk away/into the house, then it happened
"Bono"...on the back of the jersey. The thing looked like someone at one time actually had it made. I asked where she got it, and she said "i dunno. it was in my brother's closet".

I took off my Neil Smith jersey and said "here, you're wearing this", then I bought a Priest Holmes Jersey when I got to the game lol.

the Smith Jersey just totally enveloped her, but she rocked it.

I havent bought Chiefs gear in years, and the last jersey I bought as in 2003?
Anyways, Not only did I buy a Mahomes jersey this year, I bought a jacket and a couple of t shirts. I get the feeling the Chiefs merch folks are very busy this year.

I've got a closet full of jerseys of players that were traded. Seemed like a curse for me to get the jersey and then boom - he gone. So the last jersey I got is my 63 Willie Lanier.
