The Tarantino redditt users are all saying he's made a couple of appearances at film festivals and Tarantino says 10 films is it, no more. So we got one more film after this one and thats it forever..... or is it.
He didn't rule out doing a mini-series or something else on HBO after the 10th film. I vote to have HBO give him the Game of Thrones prequel.
When asked about Star Trek as the last film he responded that he had been a fan since he was a kid. That he had always wanted to do one but nothing has been decided. Focusing on this one etc. etc. [Reply]

I'm pretty sure he could tone it down for the mouse.
Trekkies have wanted a Klingon Trek movie forever. Tarantino could do a prequel about how Captain Kirk and the Klingons got such bad blood between them. There was a lot of violence occurring. A more violent version of Star Trek.
Tarantino could do his violence within that story. He was a fan as a kid. So he’s going to interested in a Captain Kirk movie but he still gets to make up his own story about what happened. [Reply]

I do think a Star Trek film from him would dope as hell though.
it would have to be an R rated movie. You couldn’t make Tarantino do a PG-13 movie. That’s not him. They could negotiate something like no child molesters, no more than 50 fucks said, only 5 people die “gorely” but, this will be his last movie, he’s going to do it his way. So he will bend to Disney only so much. [Reply]
