My brother's wife's father passed from COVID this week. I didn't know him very well so it's not too personal for me but it does hit home a bit.

As a teacher-I have to vote for my own raise that is agreed upon by the union and the school board.


I keep saying-we passed a referendum so teachers could get a raise. I paid more taxes on my house, so I could get a raise, so I could pay more income taxes because I got a raise.

Feeling better, seeing the light at the end of the tunnel isn't an oncoming train. Going to break the stay at home suggestion and head to the lake this weekend to make sure the property is okay. Any reports of issues in Hickory County?

Landlord sent me a letter yesterday asking if I wanted to renew my lease at the same rate, which I was only happy to take.
