Dante84 05:37 PM 02-22-2021
Nate Taylor (from The Athletic) seems to think Veach might be interested in one of these 2 in Free Agency.

So, after factoring in price tag, age and talent, who would you rather have?

Corey Davis, WR, Titans (age 26)
Spoiler!

Curtis Samuel, WR, Panthers (age 24)
Spoiler!

Nate also mentions these other players:

“Factoring in price tag”

If that was the case the discussion ends quickly. We aren’t going after either

Yikes. Just realized the Titans have set themselves up remarkably to return to the glories of 8-8/9-7.

Why do you say that? Veach started with $177 last year and turned in quite the offseason.

According to Veach, if the cap lands between 180-190M, we'll be in good shape to operate.

I'd love Davis but I imagine some team will overpay and give him a ridiculous deal.

With Mahomes, Hill and Kelce, he'd be the best possession "classic X" in the league...

Letís bring in Emmanuel Sanders when he gets cut. Then after he gets here and is ready to sign, we tell him to get fucked

Significantly lowering his cap hit. Williams can play either side. Heís an upgrade at LT for sure, even over a healthy Fisher.

Davis is the WR I like best from that group. Though Samuel does have the ability to separate against 1x1 coverage and is good over the middle.
This, I would target Williams with everything I had over any of those players listed.

I think that a Williams signing would free up a lot of options come draft time. In Veach we trust :-)

Kenny Golladay for me. Maybe Marvin Jones Jr. in a pinch. Either of those two would wreck souls as the X in this offense.

Why the fuck would KC want to bring Sanders since he reneged on the 1st deal the Chiefs presented him.
