If he actually wrote letters to anyone,he would never let Gatorade cheapen it for him like this This isn't heart warming,it's pathetic sensationalism

He's been writing letters for years, this isn't some new thing...

Peyton Manning, a four-time NFL MVP, was raised to write thank-you notes, and he has continued doing so in adulthood —to fellow NFL players upon their retirement.
May 28, 2013|By Sam Farmer, Los Angeles Times

Former All-Pro safety John Lynch said he treasures the letter he got from Manning upon his retirement in 2008.

"I was so touched that the very first letter I got when I retired was from Peyton," Lynch said. "It was a handwritten note that meant more than the gift ever was. He sent a case full of Silver Oak. It meant so much to me because of the respect I have for him. I still don't drink it, so there's a case of Silver Oak in my wine cellar to this day from him."

lol

A.It doesnt matter if he has written letters for years. That doesnt make the letters in that commercial real. (if he even actually wrote any letters)

B. Just because you read what someone wrote in a paper doesnt make it true.
journalists are legally allowed to embellish everything. Jocks are just like tv stars who have anything and everything written about them that isnt true at all.

he plays the part of the old school nice guy in the media. He's just another dumb ass jock with slightly better acting skills.

get up off your knees in front of you Peyton shrine!

worship toast and candy like the rest of us!

It's a testament to Elways poor drafts and yeah I think they finish last this year

Worst offense at least. They'll still go 8-8 in annoying fashion and probably split with KC

They get dominated both times last year without RIDICULOUS calls at the end in the first matchup. Basically the official let them tie the game by calling DPI on every 3rd down costing KC HFA. They don't get those without Manning this year.

it wasnt Manning's fault the KC player decided to hold the football like a cloth hanky at the end of the first game

Denver is better than SD certainly. I don't think they're better than Oakland and KC do you? I try to be as objective and non homer as possible. I just don't see it.

It should have never come to that... Reid should have played for OT with the time left and JC's love for fumbling. Blame anything else you like, that's where the blame sits.

Right now, I'd give the edge to KC winning the division.

Oakland should be a force, but they have some issues too - and San Diego, you never know in recent years. I'd put Denver in a legitimate #2 contender in the division as it stands right now.

It's not as far off as you make it appear.
