OK, who knows whats going on, but Jon Jones was all over instagram today, happy and optimistic, saying he's got good news about his issue with USADA, and that he'll be back in the octagon "soon".
If you are cynical, maybe his team found a supplement on the market that was tainted with what he tested positive for, and he was able to claim thats what happened, and he'll take a short ban. [Reply]

Shortly after finishing his ban for weed, Nick Diaz almost got in trouble with USADA today. He partied all night last night and this morning was about to go to sleep when someone showed up for a random drug test. Rather than comply, Nick Diaz got into a heated argument with him, saying he's got to come back in 5 or 6 hours because he just wants to sleep, and the USADA rep was saying that if he refuses to take the test, he'll eat a 2 year ban. Its unclear what happened after that, but eventually he gave them the sample. [Reply]

roughly 3 weeks or so? They don't announce passed tests, so if we hear nothing, he passed.
Marijuana is legal out of competition btw (you just can't be high the night of your fight), and there's no reason to think he ever took anything else, so I'm not going to be circling it on my calendar. [Reply]
