I've talked to DMH in Missouri - they tell me we need to be partnered with a pharmacy. We fall into the 1a category.
I try to ask corporate about this - no answers.

If they don't feel like telling me what's going on, fine. I just hope they have a ****ing plan in place. Right now I'm not so sure they do have a plan..

Just wait and get it yourself.

They can't give you something that they don't have access to.

I don't know where you work or any of that kind of stuff. Therefore I am lost to your reference with the rollout.
If you are wanting to get the vaccine then why haven't you went to your local pharmacy and asked to be put on the list to be able to get it ASAP?

We have a single employee, who is as close to the stereotypical redneck Republican as you can get. His job often takes him into the morgues in these hospitals. He travels more than any other technician, and is in a couple of hospitals a day, from Iowa to Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, etc.

He didn't want to wear a mask in the office, kinda chastised others for "falling" for the caronavirus hype. He came back from a road trip that took him into hospitals in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Missouri, and walked into the office wearing a mask.

He said that 7 of the 10 hospitals he tested either had body bags lining the halls outside of the morgues, or were using additional mobile cold storage behind the hospital. He said it was the worst thing he has ever seen, and he once was directed into the morgue where they forgot an autopsy was being done.

I always wore my mask at places I was supposed to, and I am not embarrassed to say that I am a Democrat, but when this dude was so shook that he started wearing his mask everywhere, I realized that maybe it really was worse than inside my little bubble. I cannot stress enough how much this guy was thought it was a hoax or just way overblown, and I cannot stress enough just how hard he did a 180.

I stay in my bubble. I don't interact with people, and do most of my work from home now, but his reaction had an affect on me.

You'd be surprised how often this happens. In 2018 we had one of the worst flu seasons in years (80K died and not from "comorbidities"). They were rolling out the mobile morgues. Bodies were piling up, and not just adults. Thousands of small children succumbed. In 2016 it killed that dude from the Eagles and there was a brief panic but people played it off and life went on as normal, even with the shit loads of dead bodies, overflowing morgues and mobile tents. I guess now we're all going to die though.

To be clear, you are talking about the 2017 - 2018 influenza season.
Not to mention, 61000, not 80000 is the estimated deaths during that flu season. Estimated is key word here. Every year the CDC releases estimated flu deaths when they put the reported deaths into mathematical models.

According to the CDC 50k/60k deaths were in the 65+ age range.
650/60k were pediatric patients. And again, this is estimated data, which is significantly higher than the actual number of reports deaths. Where are you coming up with "thousands"?

Your entire post is riddled with false statements

So, I am not sure if you read my post, but my company, and this particular technician is literally in hundreds of hospitals every year. And have been for decades.

This is the first and only time he has ever seen anything like it. So maybe people were dying before, apparently not in these hospitals.

Why would I not like it? I think the more people that get vaccinated the better?

Put your pipe down....
