One other thing I heard is that as the instigator he is responsible for the bad look for the league so it could be handled under the conduct policy. I just don't think that is appropriate.
Do you have an example of someone previously being suspended for grabbing a helmet?

Talk about an understatement. What about the kick to the balls? What about coming back for more after they were separated?

IAny examples similar situations to a guy pulling an the helmet and following a player that took his helmet you can reference?

I mean tou want a guy suspended for wanting his helmet back? Seems weird.

Not true. Rudy gets hit as he throws the ball. Yes he was drug down but Myles has no way to know if he got the ball off or if he hung onto it as he was hit.

:-)

You “called it” because that’s exactly what happened, and it kills your argument.

You’ve gone as far as calling that hit a “legal hit”, which is clearly false to anyone with eyes. You’re obviously not thinking rationally about this, for whatever reason.

Oh well, it’s your life. :-)

Of course there aren’t. It’s an absurd notion. Players get in each other’s faces every single game and don’t get suspended.

Like that is the same as twisting and pulling at in an effort to remove Garretts helmet. Still no mention of the kick to the balls.

It wasn't a late hit. Even if it was... it doesn't give Rudy the right to try to rip off Myles helmet.

Follow along. I want an example of another time someone was suspended for doing exactly what Rudolph did or anything half assed close to it.

There was no kick to the balls. It wasn’t even a kick. His leg raised and bumped Garrett as he was trying to get up.

Seriously, are we talking about the same fight? WTF are you looking at that you see a kick?:-)

Jesus. We’ve been over this. The hit wasn’t late. It was the twisting and dragging down part, 2 seconds after the play, when the dude with the ball is already out of the camera shot.

That was unnecessary and is what Rudolph took exception to. Especially considering the time and score. It was a cheap shot.

You are either being purposely obtuse or you are "slow".

Being the subject of s "non legal hit" (which I disagree) doesn't give one a pass to attempt to rip off an opponent's helmet.
